Classically trained, Daniel Millhouse has played roles from Shakespeare to Samuel Beckett to Christopher Durang to Tony Kushner, working in various theaters across the Midwest. Born in Grand Blanc, MI he has performed in Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Russia, and Wisconsin.
In 2015, Daniel graduated with an MFA in Acting and Directing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has a BS in Theatre Studies from Eastern Michigan University. In Wisconsin, Daniel collaborated with Tony Award winning actress Karen Olivo as her assistant director for the song cycle Fugitive Songs. Aside from acting, Daniel enjoys playing the ukulele, teaching acting (two time recipient of University Housing’s Honored Instructor Award at UW-Madison), fighting with swords whenever offered the chance, and working on motion capture for video games through Raven Software. He is thrilled to be a member of MICHA, SAFD (Society of American Fight Directors), and AEA (Actor’s Equity Association).
